Welcome to Bylor Publishing!
The ultimate goal of Bylor Publishing is found in Proverbs 17:12 “Let a man meet a bear robbed of her cubs,Rather than a fool in his folly.” (NASB95). The reason for this verse is it demonstrates that we must not be content in our foolishness for it is ultimately destructive.
Bylor Publishing is committed to art that enhances the intelligence and wisdom of the artist and the enjoyer. This may take the form of fiction, essays, games, pictures, and more.
If this concept inspires you please explore the website and consider supporting either through purchasing items in the store, a one time donation, or a monthly donation of 1 or 5 dollars.
All essays, stories, poems, etc. on this website are not in their finished and polished form. With that in mind constructive feedback is welcome, and may be used (according to the authors discretion) to improve the final physically published product.

The Bylor Publishing store is now open!

C. P. Handrop
Founder and Author

Bylor Publishing is named after C. P. Handrop’s distant uncle who traveled to Alabama in the 1800’s to homestead. While there in 1864 he reportedly killed a young bear in self defense. This angered the momma bear who then attacked him. Bylor, not possessing any easily accessible weapons to fight a big angry momma bear beat her off with just a pine knot. For his trouble he only received scars across his thighs from the attack.
Due to the only thing known about Bylor being this small story C. P. Handrop wanted to honor his frontiersman great great great etc. uncle by naming his small publishing brand after him.

Currently there will be functionally no difference between the free, $1 and $5 subscribers. this is primarily due to finances and working full time. I would like to make subscriber specific content but that won’t be feasible until I am able to make this a more full time job. The only reason to pay monthly is if you want to support my creative endeavors and if you want to help me in trying to make this my full time job.
